Release Highlights

Equipment CRM - Data Quality Enforcement

Data is the lifeblood of any successful dealership, but its value is only as good as its accuracy. Data Quality Enforcement is a new feature for Equipment CRM (SalesLink) and Equipment CRM Mobile (SalesLink Flex) that helps dealerships improve the quality and consistency of company and contact data at the point of entry.

This feature adds stronger validation when users create or update records, helping prevent incomplete or incorrectly formatted data before it enters the system. The result is cleaner reporting, more reliable follow-up activity, and greater confidence in your CRM data. For Caterpillar dealers, this enhancement is especially valuable because it helps support compliance with Caterpillar Digital Excellence Program (Dealer Trifecta) requirements.

Equipment CRM - Opportunity Reason Management Improvements

Two changes have been made to the Opportunity Reason Management screen in Equipment CRM:

  • The “Cat CSS ReasonId” column has been renamed to “OEM Reason”.
  • A new “Battery Electric Machine Required” option is now available in the OEM Reason drop-down when editing opportunity reason mappings. This option can be assigned to any reason and will be included in CAT CSS exports accordingly.

For Caterpillar dealers, this update ensures compliance with CAT’s latest CSS reporting requirements by enabling dealers to capture and export the “Battery Electric Machine Required” reason, which was not previously supported.

CLA-42374

A new "Data quality enforcement account scope"(ckSLCommon.CustomerProspect.DataQuality.AccountScope) configuration key has been added to CloudLink Console. This key determines which account types are subject to data quality enforcement rules when enforcement is enabled.

CLA-42618

Updated the Prime Product V3 CurrencyCode logic to prioritize the division-level setting and fall back to the ISO currency code when the configured value is not a valid three-character code. This ensures compatibility with CAT Leads requirements and resolves inconsistencies caused by non-standard currency configurations.
