XML Parser Configuration for AR, AP, and GL Exports
How to configure Texada SRM to export AR, AP, and GL data to XML, and email this data as part of the daily close process.
Introduction
Texada SRM has the ability to export AR, AP, and GL data to XML files. This information can then be emailed to the specified Operator as part of the daily close process. The following article contains instructions for enabling this behavior.
In order to receive XML files from SRM, two conditions must be fulfilled:
- Your SRM Operator record must be set up with a valid email address. For more information, see “Operator Codes” (SRM help file).
- SRM must be configured to send system emails. For more information, see “Configure SRM to Send System Emails”.
Export and Email AR, AP, and GL Data
- Log in to Texada SRM and navigate to System Maintenance → Configure System Settings → System → Company Parameters → Daily Close Parameters.
- In the XML Data Exports section at the bottom of the Daily Close Parameters window, make the following configurations:
- Directory (60 Characters): export
- Parser (60 Characters): xml_parser.py --email
- Check the checkboxes as desired to select which data should be emailed to you following Daily Close #2 and Daily Close #3.
- Click “OK”.
