Logging Into CloudLink With A New Email Address

How to manage logging into CloudLink when your email address has changed.

Introduction

If the email address you use to log into Texada CloudLink has changed - for example, as a result of a company rebranding or a last name change - there are steps you can take to ensure that all the information from your original user profile is accessible using your new email address. The following article will detail how to handle this transition.

Logging In With Your New Address

When you first log in to Texada CloudLink using your new email address, the system will be unaware of the connection between your original address and the new one, and will create a new user account for you. This means that you will not be able to access the information from your original account.

When this occurs, contact Texada support. Be ready to provide email addresses for both of your accounts: the original account that you no longer want to keep, and the new account that you will be using moving forward. A member of Texada’s support staff will then do the following:

  1. Locate both of your accounts in CloudLink Console.
  2. Identify which account is the original and which account is new.
  3. Texada will make a database change on the original account to change the email to the new address.

If you inform Texada support of the new email address and the time it will be changed, Texada can arrange to have that account renamed in time, given a reasonable amount of notice.
