Dynamic Status Indicators
See what matters faster with dynamic status indicators in Handle CRM.
Sometimes, doing tasks on a computer seems like endless scrolling through rows of meaningless garbage. Everything looks the same, and too often you have to click on multiple things to find what you’re looking for.
Handle’s Dynamic Status indicators uses color-coded icons to make your data easier to read and faster to act on.
Here’s some examples:
- Account Management: marking key accounts and accounts that need follow up based on automated rules
- Quote Follow Up: call out stalled quotes or identify opportunities waiting for a trade assessment
- Inventory Management: highlight inventory that appears in an active quote, aged inventory over 180 days, or units put on hold for over 3 days
How to set up Dynamic Status indicators
What You’ll Need
- A Search with a Tile that filters for the items your want to flag
1. Open Dynamic Status Settings
- Mouse over the upper right corner and clicking the Tile Settings icon
- Select Dynamic Status
2. Choose the Icon and Highlight Color
- Click on the icon dropdown and scroll through to find and select the icon you want
- Click on a color, or open the drop down menu to create a custom color
- Save your settings and apply them to your results by right-click and selecting Save or clicking Save in the Search Settings panel
3. See it across views
- Click on the Settings Gear icon to open Settings Panel, then choose one of these view types: Activity, Grid, Card, or Map

Card View
Tip: Set a Dynamic Status in one search, view in any search.
- Once you create a Dynamic Status, it will be available through the Dynamic Status menu in any other search of the same data entity.
