Scheduled Reports
How to get scheduled reports from Handle CRM via email.
Do you ever wish you had more data tables filling your inbox?
While the answer is probably a resounding “No?”, sometimes you need those reports for sales call reporting, tracking overdue accounts, checking on active quotes with no updates, or following up on held inventory with no invoice.
Handle’s Scheduled Reports are easy to set up and automatically send you reports from Handle as PDF or .CSV file, so you have the latest data when you need it without having to lift a finger.
How to set up a Scheduled Report
What You’ll Need
- A Search and your email linked to your Handle user account
The Scheduled Report will match the configuration of the Search view it is created from—so only the columns shown in the view will be included in the Report.
1. Click +Add Schedule
- In the Search view you want as a report, click on the Settings Gear icon to open Settings Panel
- Near the bottom of the panel, click on + Add Schedule
2. Set the reports options
- Frequency: Daily, Weekly, or Monthly
- Email To: click to add other recipients to the report’s
- Dynamic User: select Teams or individual users from a list to filter results
- Start On/End On: to delay the report or put an end date on the report being shared out
- Format:
- PDF: provides a printable report grouped by the Search’s primary data field (e.g. Account Name)
- CSV: a simple data file for opening and using your data in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Orientation (PDF only): to set your PDF for Landscape or Portrait print orientation on a sheet of letter-sized paper
