Mobile Configuration
How to customize your Handle mobile application.
Common Problems and Questions
How do I configure my Handle Mobile App to show only what I need on the go?
Handle’s Solution
Handle’s Mobile Configuration allows you to customize what you see, and how you see it, in your Handle Mobile App – right on your desktop
Selecting Mobile View
You can set up your mobile view on your browser, and have the option to use the mobile layout when working on any device, including the desktop.
Important note: Making changes in your mobile view will not change anything on your desktop layout.
Pin Feeds to Mobile Layout
By default, nothing is pinned to your mobile view (top red circle). You can select which feeds or tabs you want to quickly access (bottom red circle), and pin them to the top.
For example, feeds that pre-load a lot of data, you may not want to pin to your mobile view, as they tend to slow down mobile device performance, and are often not necessary in the field.
Adapting Feeds to Mobile Layout
Viewing things on mobile devices is different than on a desktop given screen real estate limitations.
For example, Tiles can be hard to view in the mobile layout. Just click on the gear icon and turn them off.
Changing Feed View
Now the tiles will be available in a convenient dropdown menu.
Another example is the popular grid view, which is difficult to fit on a mobile screen.
To scroll easier on your mobile device, simply Change the view to “Card”
Change “Preload” to OFF to allow for quick load and prevent performance issues.
Faster Mobile Access
The mobile app also eliminates the need to use a password to log-in – instead you can utilize your mobile device’s face or fingerprint recognition in order to access Handle faster.
