Mapping in Field Sales Calls
How to map field sales calls in Handle CRM.
Common Problems and Questions
I need to plan sales calls efficiently.
Handle’s Solution
Using Handle’s advanced mapping you can view all of your accounts, including their status, as well as create routes for your sales visits.
Your Location
The map shows your location, whether in the field or the office.
Accounts Near Me
But more importantly, it shows you which accounts are near you and which are assigned to you.
Accounts Assigned to Me
You can narrow the map results to show only accounts assigned to you.
Enhanced Indicators
The enhanced status indicators also show you what is going on with each account.
For example, you can see which accounts are customers or prospects, have an open service order, are awaiting delivery, have a pending quote, or are due for a follow-up.
Create Route
When planning in-person sales calls, you can create a route right in your Handle Map.
Select Points on Route
Choose your starting point (1), and any account you wish to visit (2-5), in the order you want to visit them. Your route will appear on the left as you create it.
Adjust Route
Once you have selected all the accounts you want to visit, you can change the order of your route (1) by dragging the 4 arrow icon up or down.
Once you have your desired route – click on Open with Google Maps (2).
If you created the route using your Handle Mobile App, you’ll be able to start navigation right away.
If you were using a desktop browser, click on Send Direction to your Phone (1).
