Attachments Carousel View

Handle's "Attachments Carousel View" allows users to preview documents with key data points simultaneously.

Users have asked us for a way to preview PDFs while also viewing key data points associated with that document. To solve this issue, we created Attachments Carousel View, a better way to preview docs.

• Preview docs within Handle, without having to open extra tabs or apps.
• Split the screen to see your data and PDF preview.
• Useful for settlement and invoicing processes.

Attachments Carousel View: Preview Docs AND the Associated Data

Your team collects multiple documents for every deal. All of these documents are stored within Handle and can be viewed by the teams that need them to complete their part of the workflow. 

Handle now allows users to preview those documents without having to open the record in a separate page.

For example, after a deal is signed, the Settlement team needs to transact it. They’ll need to see certain data points and certain views of the PDFs as part of their workflow.

You can now preview these documents in Carousel View, where you can view the document itself and the data points associated with it. 

Two Ways to Enter Carousel View 

Option 1: Preview All Documents at Once

Clicking on the word “preview” at the top of the left pane will switch the right pane to Preview Mode. From there, you can scroll through each document one by one without losing the view of the data on the left.

Users can click on the “preview” button to view the document without leaving the current view.

The PDF appears on the right while the key data points remain visible on the left.

Option 2: Preview One Doc at a Time

Hover over the document needed, and the “preview” option appears. Click on the word “preview” and navigate to that document directly.

Navigating Attachment Carousel View

You can navigate through the documents by clicking “next” or “previous” in the Preview Pane.

Or use the drop-down menu at the top of the document. Simply click on the title at the top, center of the screen and choose the document you want to preview.
