Make Pricing Easy

Users can easily produce professional documents for their customers using this feature. They only have to fill out a few required fields in a costing worksheet, and the system works the formulas to calculate the appropriate pricing.

Let’s look at some of the use cases for this feature.

Link Attachments/Files in Just One Click

When you’re searching for a unit to link to the quote you’re working on, all you have to do is find the unit you want to add and click on “link.”

This pre-populates other fields, like make or model, so you don’t have to worry about inputting that data manually.

Include Additional Costs

We can create custom calculations that make it easy to add additional costs to your invoice or quote.

The user only needs to add an attachment to the quote, and the correct pricing for that attachment will be added to the quote.

Add Equipment Specs Automatically

We can add spec lines that go with a piece of equipment. These values are pulled automatically from your inventory, so you don’t have to worry about manually entering them.

Quote Something That’s Not in Stock

All too often, you need to quote something that’s not in stock. Typically, that’s done by pricing it out: You go to the manufacturer’s app, price out the product, and download a file with the product specs.

Handle can import those files and add in all the details, including pricing, automatically.

In the right-hand corner, click the Build & Price Import button.

Select the file that you created from the manufacturer’s app.

Handle will pull the make, model, description, and pricing into the system.

You can then do your standard pricing, costing, and quoting from there.

Check, Control, and Limit Discounts

Discounts are calculated automatically, when the user applies them to the quote.

We can also add rules that ensure management is notified when a discount has been applied or if it’s above or below a specific amount.

This helps you stay on top of pricing practices and maintain consistency across the organization.

Create Professional PDFs Within the System

Before you print or email your quote to your customer, you can preview all the details in PDF view.

Within Handle, you can create and printable forms you use today. For example, JD link form, a quotation template, tax forms, internal versions with more details, etc.

If you’re used to manually creating your own Word Documents or PDFs, send them to us and we’ll import them to your system, so all the values are filled automatically and you won’t need to input information manually.

Once it’s set up in your system, you can reorder your files, select which ones to send/print, and omit files from the quote — all within Handle.

Automate Tax Rates

Tax rates can be different, depending on:

  • The store listed on the quote
  • Whether the product is being picked up or shipped
  • The location being shipped to

Because there are so many variables, it can be challenging for salespeople to calculate taxes quickly and accurately.

With Handle, it’s done automatically. We only need to create a reference table  based on your rules, and your quotes will auto-populate with the correct tax rate.

Get eSignatures Within Handle

When you’ve approved all the data in your quote, Handle produces a professional document, based on all your requirements, conditions, and rules.

With the click of a button, you can send it to your customers for eSignature or approval (additional licensing required).
