Homepage Categories

An overview of the Homepage Categories page in the GateWay Administration Panel.

Quick Reference

• The Homepage Categories screen in the GateWay Administration Panel allows you to select which product categories will appear on your website’s homepage. To reach this page, select Content → Homepage from the left navigation menu.
• The “Homepage Categories” panel on the left side of the screen lists categories that will appear on your website’s homepage. Drag and drop categories within this section to modify their display order. Drag a category into the Homepage Categories section to add it to the homepage. Drag a category into the “Other Categories” section to remove it from the homepage.
• Click the “View” button under a category to open its Edit Category page.

Introduction

The Homepage Categories screen in the GateWay Administration Panel allows you to select which product categories will appear on your website’s homepage, giving you the ability to showcase your most popular products and encourage visitors to click through and browse.

To reach this page, select Content → Homepage from the left navigation menu.

Homepage Categories

1. Homepage Categories
   The categories that will appear on your website’s homepage are listed here. Categories will be displayed in the order they appear here (categories with 0 products available will not be displayed). Drag and drop a category within the Homepage Categories section to change the order of the categories. Drag a category from the Homepage Categories section to the Other Categories section to remove it from the homepage.
2. Other Categories
   Categories that will not appear on your website’s homepage are listed here. Drag a category from the Other Categories section to the Homepage Categories section to add it to the homepage.
3. View Button
   Click to open the Edit Category page for that category.
