Share to SalesLink Flex
This feature is available to all SalesLink Flex users.
An incredible new quality-of-life feature has made its way onto SalesLink Flex - the ability to share email addresses and phone numbers from your device directly into the application! As a busy sales rep receiving dozens of incoming calls per day, you can now quickly create new activities without having to copy contact information manually from your device into SalesLink Flex.
The application will behave differently depending on whether the contact is already present in SalesLink Flex:
- If the contact’s phone number or email address is already associated with a contact in SalesLink Flex, begin a new activity with a status of “Completed” and the customer, contact, date, and time already filled out.
- If the contact’s phone number or email address is not recognized by SalesLink Flex, begin a new activity with a status of “Completed” and the date and time already filled out.
Step-by-Step
To log an activity using on-device contact information, follow the steps below.
- Open the contact you’d like to add to SalesLink Flex on your smart device and select “Share Contact”. Note that the name and location of this option may vary depending on your device’s operating system.
- On the Share Contact screen, leave all fields selected and tap “Done”.
- Your device will now prompt you to select an application to share contact details with. Tap the SalesLink icon.
- SalesLink will now open to the “Add Activity” screen. If the contact was recognized by SalesLink, the customer, contact, date, and time will be automatically filled out. Otherwise, the date and time will be automatically filled out. You can now edit and submit the activity as usual.
