A new search feature has been added next to the Serial Number field when creating an Opportunity in SalesLink! This quality-of-life feature makes it much easier to locate right machine for your Parts or Service Opportunity.

Step-by-Step

  1. In SalesLink - Sales Rep, add a new Opportunity either via a customer profile or the blue plus icon in the top-right corner of the screen.
  2. Select an Opportunity Type of “Parts” or “Service” to reveal the Product panel. Scroll down to the “Serial Number” field and click the search icon to open the new Find Equipment window.

  3. This window contains a list of equipment for the selected customer, including each machine’s make, model, and serial number. Once you have located the machine you want to add, click the “Select” button. This will close the Find Equipment window and populate the Opportunity’s Serial Number and Make with those of the selected piece of equipment.
