Manage - PSE Type Mapping

An overview of the Manage - PSE Type Mapping screen in SalesLink - Executive.

Quick Reference

• The Manage - PSE Type Mapping page in SalesLink - Executive allows you to map Product Categories and Commodities to CAT PSEs. To access this page, login to SalesLink - Executive and navigate to Settings (gear icon in the top-right corner of the screen) → Manage - PSE Type Mapping.
• Click the “Add” button in the top-right corner of the PSE Mapping table to add a new PSE mapping. This will insert a new row at the top of the table. Select a Product Category / Commodity and PSE Type, then click “Save” to add the mapping.
• Click the “Edit” button next to an existing mapping to change its PSE Type. Note that changing an existing mapping will update the PSE Type for ALL matching Leads and Opportunities that are currently open and that were created within the last 12 months.
• Click the “Delete” button next to an existing mapping to remove it.

Introduction

The Manage - PSE Type Mapping page in SalesLink - Executive allows you to map Product Categories and Commodities to CAT PSEs. 

To access this page, login to SalesLink - Executive and navigate to Settings (gear icon in the top-right corner of the screen) → Manage - PSE Type Mapping. Access to this screen is controlled via Secured Modules - if you do not see this option in your Settings menu, contact your CloudLink administrator.

Manage - PSE Type Mapping

1. PSE Type Mapping Table
   This table lists all of the SalesLink Product Categories / Commodities that have been mapped to CAT PSEs. Each entry in this table represents a PSE mapping and contains the following information:
   1. Product Category / Commodity: The SalesLink Product Category or Commodity that has been mapped to a PSE.
   2. PSE Type: The PSE type to which the Category or Commodity has been mapped.
   3. Open Leads and Opportunities: The count of SalesLink leads and Opportunities that match this PSE mapping.
   4. Changed By: The name of the User who last changed this mapping and the date on which it was last changed.
2. Add Button
   Click to add a new entry to the PSE Type Mapping table. See “Add Mapping” for more information.
3. Edit Button
   Click to edit a PSE mapping. This will enable the “PSE Type” column for editing. Note that if you want to change the mapping’s Product Category / Commodity, you will need to create a new mapping.
   
   Changing an existing PSE mapping will update the PSE Type for ALL matching Leads and Opportunities that are currently open and that were created within the last 12 months.
4. Delete Button
   Click to delete a PSE mapping.

Add Mapping

Click the “Add” button in the top-right corner of the PSE Mapping table to add a new PSE mapping. This will insert a new row at the top of the table.

1. Product Category / Commodity
   Use the drop-down to select a Product Category or Commodity from the list of existing Categories and Commodities. Note that only Categories and Commodities that are not yet present in the Mapping table will appear here.
2. PSE Type
   Use the drop-down to select a PSE type from the list of PSE types. Note that multiple Product Categories / Commodities can be mapped to a single PSE type.
3. Save Button
   Click to save your changes.
4. Cancel Button
   Click to cancel your changes.
