CVA Contract Configuration - Contract Configurations
An overview of the CVA Contract Configuration - Contract Configurations page in Service Agreement Quoting.
The feature discussed in this article is only available to SAQ administrators.
Quick Reference
- The CVA Contract Configuration - Contract Configurations screen in Service Agreement Quoting allows you to set default values for specific contract types. To access this page, click the gear icon in the top-right corner of SAQ, then select CVA Contract Configuration → Contract Configurations from the left navigation menu.
- Click the “Add Contract Configuration” button to add a new contract configuration.
- Click the pencil icon next to an existing contract configuration to edit it.
- Click the bin icon next to an existing contract configuration to delete it.
Introduction
The CVA Contract Configuration - Contract Configurations screen in Service Agreement Quoting allows you to set default values for specific contract types. To set default values for all contracts, see “Global Defaults”.
To access the Contract Configurations page, navigate to the Admin section of SAQ (click the gear icon in the top-right corner of the screen), then select CVA Contract Configuration → Contract Configurations from the left navigation menu.
Contract Configurations
- Add Contract Configuration Button
Click to add a configuration for a contract type not yet included in the list of contract types (2). See “Add/Edit Contract Configuration” for more information. - Contract Types
Contract types with existing configurations are listed here. - Edit Contract Configuration
Click to edit an existing contract configuration. See “Add/Edit Contract Configuration” for more information. - Delete Contract Configuration
Click to delete a contract configuration.
Add/Edit Contract Configuration
Click the “Add Contract Configuration” button in the top-right corner of the Contract Configurations page to create a new contract configuration. Click the pencil icon next to an existing contract configuration to edit it. This will open the Add/Edit Contract Configuration screen.
- Cancel Button
Click to exit without saving your changes. - Save Button
Click to save your changes. - Contract Type
The contract type whose defaults you are currently editing. When adding a new contract configuration, will you be able to select a contract type from the drop-down. When editing an existing configuration, this field will be read-only. - Defaults Table
This table contains a list of available default configurations for the current contract type. Click on a column header to sort the table by that column. Click and drag the column headers to change the order of columns. - Clear Field Button
Click the “X” icon to clear the current default value. - Field Options Drop-Down
For fields with selectable values, click the down arrow to view a list of possible default values. You can also accomplish this by clicking on the value itself. Select a value to set it as the default for that field. - Allow Manual Override Checkbox
Check this checkbox to allow Users filling out contracts to manually override the default value. Uncheck this checkbox to prevent Users from overriding the default value.
