Mapping Commodities to PSE Types

It is now possible to map commodities to PSE types via SalesLink’s PSE Type Mapping Management page! This update makes it possible for SalesLink to automatically select a PSE type when selecting a commodity during opportunity creation. Check out the above video to learn more!

Note that when a PSE mapping is added or updated, all opportunities that meet the following criteria will be retroactively updated:

  • Opportunity was created within the last 12 months
  • Opportunity Type is Parts or Service
  • Opportunity was created by the dealer
  • Opportunity is currently in the Open stage
  • Make is Caterpillar

PSE type mapping functionality was originally introduced in CloudLink version 2024.0801. This video provides a brief introduction to this feature.
