Introduction

In Q4 2024, Texada Analytics will undergo structural changes for performance and security reasons. These changes will also require you to verify your email address to access the tool, and will also affect the layout of your Texada Analytics workspace.

The following article contains important migration information directed at existing Texada Analytics users.

Account Activation

In order to log in to Texada Analytics following the migration, you will need to accept an invitation to connect Texada Analytics to your Microsoft account. To do this, follow the steps below.

Texada staff have been working directly with Texada Analytics customers to determine which email addresses should receive Microsoft account activation emails. If you are unsure whether or not to expect an account activation email, or to which address it will be sent, please contact the person at your organization responsible for managing Texada Analytics accounts.

  1. Watch your email inbox for an email from invites@microsoft.com with the subject “Texada Software invited you to access applications within their organization”. This is your Texada Analytics invitation email. Once you have received this email, open it and click “Accept invitation”.
  2. If you are not already signed in to your Microsoft Account, you may be prompted to enter your login credentials or verify your login via an emailed code. Follow the prompts to complete your sign-in.
  3. Once you have logged in, you will receive the following prompt requesting that you give Texada Software access to your Microsoft account. Click “accept” to continue.
  4. You can now access Texada Analytics at your organization’s unique login URLs*.

*As part of the migration, your Texada account representative will forward you 2 login URLs for Texada Analytics - one for the standard workspace and one for the custom workspace. Please reach out to your account representative if you misplace these URLs or have not received them by the time your migration is complete.

Workspace Changes

As part of the migration, the structure your organization’s Analytics workspaces will be updated. The purpose of these changes is to unify workspace structure and to provide all Analytics customers with the same set of standard reports.

The new Texada Analytics will feature 2 workspaces:

Standard Workspace

This workspace contains a set of 4 standard reports created by Texada. These reports were created to provide a high degree of value for all Analytics customers.

To learn more about these reports, see “Standard Reports”.

Custom Workspace

This workspace contains any reports that have been custom-made for your organization. Depending on your organization’s history with Texada Analytics, this workspace may be empty, or it may contain a number of reports with which you will be familiar.

If you are interested in having custom reports created for Texada Analytics, please contact your Texada account representative.
