CAT Rental Store Integration
Everything you need to know about integrating Texada Rental Management with the CAT Rental Store.
Introduction
The CAT Rental Store is an e-commerce portal where renters can browse and select from a wide variety of both Caterpillar and non-Caterpillar equipment. Equipment rental companies can partner with Caterpillar to list their equipment in the CAT Rental Store, unlocking a wealth of business opportunities.
Texada’s rental management suite now integrates with the CAT Rental Store, allowing Texada customers to populate their online marketplace using existing equipment data from SRM. Using this integration, you can easily maintain an online storefront using accurate, up-to-date machine information while maintaining a single equipment database.
This integration allows Texada to provide the following information to the CAT Rental Store via API:
- Your product catalog, including detailed information for each Asset
- Customer information
- Dealer locations & job sites
- Contract, Reservation, and invoice information
Implementation
CAT Rental Store integration is currently available for TexadaOne Pro & Enterprise customers who are also users of the CAT Rental Store.
If you are interested this integration, please reach out to your Texada account representative.
The implementation process is as follows:
- Your account representative will work with Texada’s internal teams to prepare your system for the integration.
- Once preparations are complete, your account representative will contact you with an API key and endpoint credentials. Contact your Caterpillar account representative for instructions on how to configure your CAT Rental Store using these credentials.
- Once the integration is complete, you will be able to use the CAT Rental Store admin panel to configure the extent of the data synchronization between the two systems.
