iQuote - Standard Package is not Available to Sales Reps Creating a new Quote
Introduction
This article offers troubleshooting tips for when the expected standard packages are not available for sales reps to select when creating a new Quote in iQuote.
Context
In Texada iQuote, managers are able to create standard packages for various machine models. Sales reps can then use these packages to create Quotes.
When a sales rep is creating a new Quote, available standard packages will be listed in the Create Quote window under Quote Source → Standard Packages:
If a manager has created a standard package but it is still not appearing in this window, try the solutions below.
Solution 1: Set the Package Status to Completed
If a package’s status is set to In Progress, it will be viewable and editable to managers, but will not be visible to sales reps. Changing the package’s status to Completed will allow sales reps to use it to create Quotes.
- Log in to iQuote as a manager and select Standard Packages → Manager View from the top menu.
- Select the package you’d like to work with.
- Check the “Package Status” field near the top-left corner of the screen. This status should be “Completed”. If this is not the case, click the “Change to: Completed” button immediately to the right of the current status.
Solution 2: Set the Model’s status to Active
In order for a Model’s standard packages to be available, the Model’s status must be set to Active.
- Log in to iQuote as a manager and open the Model you’d like to work with.
- Select Model Config from the left navigation menu. You will default to the “Model Admin” tab.
- Set the Model’s status to “Active”, then click the “Update” button to save your changes.
