- Navigate to Work Orders → Create Work Order Estimate in the left side menu.
- Fill out the information for your Work Order estimate, including at minimum a Division, Location, and Customer.
- Click the “Create Work Order Estimate” button to create your Work Order estimate.

A Work Order estimate is a pre-Work Order document that allows counter operators to draft a Work Order and share its potential cost with the customer without affecting inventory or committing to performing work. Once a Work Order estimate has been approved, it can be converted to a regular Work Order.

Creating a Work Order Estimate
To create a new Work Order estimate in Texada Web, follow the steps below.
- Log in to Texada Web and select Work Orders → Create Work Order Estimate from the left navigation menu. This will open the Create Work Order Estimate screen, where you can fill out all the information for your estimate.
For a full breakdown of the contents of this screen, see “The Create / Edit Work Order Page”. - Fill out your Work Order estimate. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk
. In order to create a Work Order estimate, you must at least select a Division, Location, and Customer.
- Once you have entered all of the information for your estimate, click the “Create Work Order Estimate” button in the bottom-right corner of the screen to save your changes and return to the Work Order List. If creation was successful, you will receive a message that reads “Work Order Estimate created successfully! View #[Work Order number]”. Click on this message to view and edit your Work Order estimate.
