Vendor Product Number Visibility

Introduction

When working in equipment rental, it is often useful to be able to quickly locate a product’s vendor number: with all the slight variations in parts, checking the product’s catalogue number in the vendor’s database can help resolve ambiguity. For this reason, we have added new Vendor Product Number fields to several screens in Texada Web, SRM, and Mobile.

Texada Web

In Texada Web, Vendor Product Numbers can be seen in the following locations:

    • The Create / Edit Work Order screen
Scroll down to the “Parts” tab and hover your mouse over the information bubble to the right of the Part Description field. This will display detailed information for the Part, including the Vendor Product Number:
  • The Create / Edit Invoice screen
Scroll down to the “Products” tab and hover your mouse over the information bubble to the right of the Product Description field. This will display detailed information for the Product, including the Vendor Product Number:
  • The Create / Edit Ticket screen

Texada SRM

In Texada Web, Vendor Product Numbers can be seen in two places: the Work Orders utility and the Sales Order Invoices utility:

  • Work Order Parts
Create or open a Work Order and click “Accept” to open the Work Order Details window. Select “Parts” to open the Work Order Parts window, then click the “Exp/Con” button to expand the list of Parts. The Vendor number for each Part will now be visible below the “Tax1” field:
  • Sales Order Invoice Details
Create or open a Sales Order Invoice and click “Accept” to view Part details, then click the “Exp/Con” button to expand the list of Parts. The Vendor number for each Part will now be visible below the “Tax1” field:

Texada Mobile

In Texada Mobile, the Vendor Product Number will now be visible when adding a Part to a Work Order. It will appear below your internal Product number, preceded with a “V#”:
