SalesLink - OEM Lead Type


Managing SalesLink PSE Leads is now easier than ever thanks to the addition of a new “OEM Lead Type” field!

The OEM Lead Type field indicates the Lead’s type as specified by Caterpillar, and can be found on the Lead Details screen for PSE Leads directly below the “Type” field. Note that this field is read-only, since it represents information originating from Caterpillar.

Bulk Edit Leads by OEM Lead Type

Using the Manage - Opportunity, Activity and Issue Status secured module, you can easily update Leads in bulk based on their OEM Lead Type. This is especially useful if you want to bulk enroll Leads in a campaign.

  1. Log in to SalesLink - Executive and navigate to Settings (gear icon in the top-right corner of the screen) → Manage - Opportunity, Activity and Issue Status
  2. On this screen, you’ll notice that a new “OEM Lead Type” column has been added to the right side of the Leads table. To filter by this field, select one or more values from the “OEM Lead Type” drop-down in the top-left corner of the screen, then click “Filter”:
  3. Select the Leads you want to update. Use the checkboxes on the left side of the screen to select Leads one-by-one, or select up to 500 Leads at once* by clicking the checkbox in the table header.
  4. Choose your update criteria using the “Update Selected Rows” drop-downs at the top of the page. In the example below, Leads will be enrolled in the “Autumn PM kit special offer” campaign. Once you’re happy with your selection, click “Update” to update your Leads in bulk!

* The Manage - Opportunity, Activity and Issue Status module will display up to 500 Leads on a single page. If the filter you select returns more than 500 results, you will need to perform a separate bulk update for each page.

The OEM Lead Type field provides you with new ways to categorize Leads and reduce repetitive tasks, making PSE Leads more powerful than ever!
