ServiceLink & ServiceLink Flex - Original Technician Notes

A new type of notes called Original Technician Notes have been added to Work Order Segments in ServiceLink and ServiceLink Flex! 

Original Technician Notes cannot be edited or deleted once saved, making them an infallible record of the statements the technician made while completing a Work Order. This is useful if your dealership requires an unedited copy of a technician’s notes for legal reasons.

SalesLink Flex - Search Equipment Inventory

A new Search Equipment Inventory tool has made it possible to quickly locate equipment in SalesLink Flex!

To access this feature, simply tap “Search Equipment” under “Inventory”. The Search Equipment Inventory screen includes all kinds of options for searching and filtering equipment:

  • Keyword: Enter a keyword such as your machine’s model, serial or stock number, or product line.
  • Availability: Filter by equipment that is on loan, on hold, or currently available.
  • Inventory Status: Filter by the equipment’s inventory status – fleet, inventory, lease, rental, or unknown.
  • Location / Division: Filter by the equipment’s current location or division. 
  • Reservations: Filter by the equipment’s reservation status – rental, sale, etc.

    Tap “Submit” to view results. This powerful and effective searching tool makes it easier than ever to pinpoint the exact piece of equipment you’re looking for, without navigating a model hierarchy!

    Attempting to download an attachment with no file extension from the Opportunity Details page will no longer result in a CloudLink - Error.

    The following changes have been made to temporary customers in SalesLink and SalesLink Flex:

    • A new "Temp Customer Visibility" (ckCommon.Activity.CustoemrType.ShowTempCustomer) configuration key is now available in CloudLink Console. This key, previously only available to Texada staff, determines the visibility of the "Temp Customer" option in the Customer drop-down when managing Activities.
    • This key will now determine the visibility of the "Temp Customer" field in both SalesLink and SalesLink Flex. Previously, only SalesLink was affected.
