Introduction

Each Quote is assigned to a specific industry. iMACS has configurable templates to help capture all the important data points associated with the quote/project.

EPG

Project Information → Main - The EPG template is the most detailed of all the industries. Follow the categories on the left-hand navigation to record all of the specifics of the quote.

The Main screen presents 4 tabs: the initial quote screen (EPG – XXXX), Project Files, Engineering Services Register, Activities Outstanding and Activities Completed.

The General section has 3 main areas: 

General → Commercial – Add Payment Terms and other information pertinent to the deal. These fields will populate the quote document.

General > Quote / Report – Create your quote cover page on this screen. This is also where you add information on taxes, delivery and warranty.

Print the personalized Quote, or a Summary of all the details captured on main quote screen,
as well as the items chosen on the Electrical, Mechanical and Labor pages.

Summary Report: 

General → Closing Details – email deal details to individuals pre-populated under Admin → Users and Security → Email Lists → Quote – Closing Details

EPQ Quote specifications are broken out into various systems/functions, including Electrical, Mechanical and Labor. Items listed below represent just a sampling of the data fields available on each screen. 

Electrical → ATS – Automatic Transfer Switch details

Electrical → Control – Wall-mounted, or Unit-mounted controls? Relay Outputs, Alarm Shut-down Indication, Analog Output and Temperature Detection

Electrical → Generator – Voltage, Insulation, Circuit Breakers

Electrical → Starting System – Batteries and Starters

Mechanical → Cooling System – Circuits, Rads, Water Heaters

Mechanical → Air System / Exhaust – Light / Medium / Heavy Duty, Silencers and Pyrometers

Mechanical → Lube / Fuel System – Sump, Pumps, Oil, Filters and Fuel Systems

Mechanical → Mounting / Enclosure – Isolators, Bases and Enclosures

Mechanical → Finish / Lit / Spare Parts – Paint, Manuals, Drawings & Spare Parts

Labor > Shop Work / Shop Test – Shop work: Tests – Load, Emissions, Vibration, etc.

Labor – Site Test / Site Work – Site work: Tests, Training, CSA, ESC
