WORK ORDERS
- Enhancement: When emailing a work order, the recipient list will now suggest email addresses based on the email address(es) stored against the selected customer.
- Enhancement: To eliminate redundancies, the Mechanic, Status, and Priority filters at the top of the Work Order > List page have been removed.. The table’s column headers have built in search, sort, and filter options so those should be used instead.
- Enhancement: The table present on the Work Order > List page have been modified to allow users to enable / disable columns from appearing (via the “Columns” tab)
INVENTORY
- Correction: Previously, when a part was requested and the Qty was changed in SRM, those changes were not flowing back to FleetLogic dispatch. We have corrected this to ensure that the requested parts table is always in sync with SRM.
- Enhancement: Users will now be able to view any inspections that have been completed for the selected asset by navigating to Inventory > Asset > Inspection History.
ADMINISTRATIVE
- Enhancement: Changes have been made to ensure the timestamps viewed on-screen in Dispatch will always be according to the logged in user’s Divisional time.
- Enhancement: The link to the Help Center has been moved from the user menu to a more accessible location in the top navigation bar.

- Enhancement: Added the ability for users to override the rate/price of a product on a sales invoice. This will not override the rate/price for the product record; it will only update the product rate/price for that specific invoice.
INVOICES & CONTRACTS

WORK ORDERS
- Enhancement: We’ve added additional restrictions for inspection tag reprinting. Previously, when a dispatch reprinted a mechanic’s inspection tag (red/green), the dispatcher could choose to print either a red or a green; there was no logic in place. Now, the dispatcher will only be able to reprint the original inspection tag that the mechanic indicated on their work order.
- Enhancement: The “Print” button on the work order screen was misleading to some users so we have renamed it to “Print Tag” as the button was used to reprint the inspection tag, not print a copy of the work order.
- Enhancement: Mobile changes were made to allow mechanics to add comments to inspection form line items. We’ve made changes to the Dispatch screen to view those comments, as well. They will be visible under the “Inspection” tab on the WO.
- Enhancement: An email function has been added to the work order screen that will allow the user to email a copy of the work order to a mail recipient.
- Enhancement: A download function has been added to the work order screen that will allow the user to download a PDF copy of the work order.
- Enhancement: A print function has been added to the work order screen that will allow the user to print a PDF copy of the work order. Upon selecting the print option, the PDF will open on-screen with the ability to then print to your designated computer printer.

WORK ORDERS
- Correction: We resolved multiple back-end bugs that were a result of our v3.9 changes that allowed multiple mechanics to be assigned to a work order.
August 2018 Version 3.9
Key Release Notes
These particular release notes address new features or code fixes that could affect your daily business practices and are therefore highlighted here. They are also detailed in the full release notes that follow.
Multiple Mechanics on a Work Order Our 3.9 release includes significant changes to the desktop and mobile FleetLogic platforms. These changes will permit multiple mechanics to be assigned to the same work order.
As part of the changes, we’ve implemented additional logic to dictate the calculation of the work order’s status as multiple mechanics may be assigned to a work order, resulting in multiple statuses. This logic, as well as the overall feature addition, has resulted in significant changes to the appearance of both the mobile and desktop applications. All changes will be fully laid out in the Help Center, located at www.help.texadasoftware.com, following the release.
Desktop App
- Enhancement: Dispatchers are now able to assign multiple mechanics to a single work order.
- Enhancement: A work order’s status will now be determined by looking at all the individual mechanics’ statuses, then applying logic to display one overall status. For example: if one mechanic has Completed their work order and another is still In Progress, the overall work order status will be “In Progress”.
- Enhancement: When running a Work Order Report, if the “Assigned” column is included in the report, all mechanics who have been assigned will be included in the report.
IN-YARD RETURNS
- Enhancement: When a mechanic or other mobile user has flagged an asset as damaged, the desktop application will show the return in red text to alert the user to review the notes.
TIME TRACKING
- Enhancement: A Dispatch user will now be able to clock in and clock out from the desktop application.
July 2018 Version 3.8
Key Release Notes
These particular release notes address new features or code fixes that could affect your daily business practices and are therefore highlighted here. They are also detailed in the full release notes that follow.
Parts Management on Mobile and Dispatch Changes were made to the way we handle parts from the mobile device to Dispatch, and through to SRM. Now, when a mechanic adds a part, the user will need to select whether the part is being issued (consumed immediately) or whether or not they’re requesting the part. A requested part will not affect inventory while an issues part will affect inventory.
Work Order Changes on Create Screen Mechanics will now be able to self-assign a work order during the creation workflow. Previously, mechanics had to create the work order, then navigate to the list of unassigned work orders and manually assign the work order to themselves. Additionally, dispatchers will be able to assign a work order to a mechanic during the creation workflow. Previously, the dispatcher had to create the work order, then locate it in the list of work orders to assign it to a mechanic. The users will now be able to bypass those workflows.

WORK ORDERS
- Enhancement: Users can now filter by the division and/or location that a work order is assigned to. Set Location at Creation
- Enhancement: When creating a work order, users will be able to specify both the Division and Location. Previously, users could only specify the Division.
- Enhancement: Dispatch users will now be able to see the quantity requested, issued, and on back order when viewing the Parts tab of an existing work order.
- Enhancement: When creating a work order, users will now be able to specify the posting type, which will correlate and sync to SRM.
- Enhancement: Dispatchers will be able to assign a work order to a mechanic during the creation workflow. Previously, the dispatcher had to create the work order, then locate it in the list of work orders to assign it to a mechanic. The user will now be able to bypass that workflow.
- Enhancement: When generating a work order report, additional columns / datasets have been added. This additional information includes Time Created, Time Started, Time Completed, and Duration. The Duration column is a field that is calculated based on the span of time between the start and complete times.
- Enhancement: Work order reports were added in v3.7, however, only one report could be saved at a time. The report now allows users to configure multiple reports, save and load a past configuration, and name the report. It is also now possible to determine a default report, which is the report that will always load when navigating to this page.
INVENTORY
- Enhancement: As part of our Parts Management changes, we have added a screen to the Inventory menu that allows a Parts Manager to view all requested parts.Notify Mobile User of Parts
- Enhancement: We have added a “Notify” button to the Requested Parts table that allows a Parts Manager to trigger a notification to the assigned mechanic’s mobile device.
OTHER
- Enhancement: A link to the Help Center has been added. Users can access the Help Center by clicking on their login logo in the top-right corner.
