ServiceLink Flex: Overnight Labor Entries
Support for overnight labor entries for Work Orders has been added to ServiceLink Flex! This feature brings ServiceLink Flex’s functionality in line with what is currently available in the web version of ServiceLink.
Add an Overnight Labor Entry
When adding labor to a Work Order in ServiceLink Flex, a new “Overnight” toggle will now be visible below the Start and End Time fields:
Enable this toggle to mark the labor entry as an overnight shift. You can now enter an End Time that is earlier than the Start Time.
When you save an overnight Work Order in this manner, it will appear on the Labor Entries screen as two separate entries: the first entry terminating at 11:59 PM on the Start Date, and the second entry starting at 12:00 AM on the day after the Start Date.
In the example below, a single 10:00 PM - 2:00 AM overnight entry on the night of May 18 is represented as two separate entries: 10:00 PM - 11:59 PM on May 18, and 12:00 AM - 2:00 AM on May 19:
