Introduction

The Packages page allows you to manage the Packages available in Service Agreement Quoting (SAQ). Packages provide a way to group multiple Events (Standard Jobs) and Additional Events together with a set number of occurrences for each Event. These Packages can then be added to Quotes, making it easier to build out Quotes that contain common combinations of Events.

A Package acts as the "term" of a Contract. For example, if a Contract includes 250-hour services with a term of 2000 SMU hours or 24 months (whichever comes first), then the Package associated with the Contract needs to contain all of these PM Events as well as the number of occurrences for that term.

The below image illustrates how the Package might be structured in this example. The 250/2000HRS Package includes 4 occurrences of the PM1 Event, 3 occurrences of the PM2 Event, and 1 occurrence each of the PM3 and PM4 Events, each scheduled at 250-hour intervals.

By bundling all of these Events into a single Package, complex maintenance schedules can be quoted easily.

To access the Packages page, navigate to the Admin section of SAQ (click the gear icon in the top-right corner of the screen), then select “Packages” from the left navigation menu.
