Contract Types
An overview of the Contract Types page in Service Agreement Quoter.
Quick Reference
- The Contract Types page allows you to manage Contract types. To access this page, navigate to the Admin section of SAQ (click the gear icon in the top-right corner of the screen), then select “Contract Types” from the left navigation menu.
- Click the “Add Contract Type” button in the top-right corner of the Contract Types screen to create a new Contract type.
- Click the Edit button to the right of an existing Contract type to edit it. Click the Delete button to delete it.
Introduction
The Contract Types page allows you to manage Contract types. Every Quote created in Service Agreement Quoter has a Contract type. Event Types, Additional Events, and Packages can also be restricted for use only with certain Contact types.
To access this page, navigate to the Admin section of SAQ (click the gear icon in the top-right corner of the screen), then select “Contract Types” from the left navigation menu.
Contract Types
- Contract Types Table
This table contains the list of Contract Types in the system. Click on a column header to sort the table by that column. Click and drag the column headers to change the order of columns. Click and drag the vertical bars between the columns to resize the columns. - Save Button
Click to save your changes. - Add Contract Type Button
Click to create a new Contract type. See “Add / Edit Contract Type” for more information. - Enabled Checkbox
Check this box to enable the Contract type, making it available for selection when creating new Quotes and when editing Event Types, Additional Events, and Packages. Uncheck this box to disable it. - Edit Button
Click to edit a Contract type. See “Add / Edit Contract Type” for more information. - Delete Button
Click to delete a Contract type.
Contract Types Table - Columns
The Contract Types table comprises the following columns:
- Enabled: Contains the Enabled checkbox.
- Description: The Contract type’s description.
- Actions: Contains the Edit and Delete buttons.
Add / Edit Contract Type
Click the “Add Contract Type” button in the top-right corner of the Contract Types screen to create a new Contract type. Click the Edit button to the right of an existing Contract type to edit it.
Required fields are marked with a red asterisk .

The Contract type’s description. - Enabled Checkbox
Check this box to enable the Contract type, making it available for selection when creating new Quotes and when editing Event Types, Additional Events, and Packages. Uncheck this box to disable it. - Save Button
Click to save your changes. - Cancel Button
Click to close the Add / Edit Contract Type window without saving your changes.
