The Quote List

An overview of the Quote List page in Service Agreement Quoter.

Quick Reference

  • The Quote List page contains a list of all the Quotes currently in the system. It allows you to build and export lists of Quotes, as well as access the details page of a particular Quote. 
  • To access the Quote List page, click the “Quote List” button in the top navigation bar on any page in Service Agreement Quoter.
  • Click the “Edit” button in the top-right corner of the screen to open the Filter panel. This panel allows you to apply various filters to the Quote List.
  • Click the “Export” button in the bottom-left corner of the screen to export the current contents of the Quote List (including any active filters) to a comma-separated values (.csv) file.

Introduction

The Quote List page is the home page of Service Agreement Quoter. Containing a list of all the Quotes currently in the system, this page allows you to build and export lists of Quotes, as well as access the details page of a particular Quote.

You can access the Quote List page from any screen in Service Agreement Quoter by clicking the “Quote List” button in the top navigation bar.

Quote List

  1. Edit Filter Button
    Click to expand the Filter panel and filter the Quote List by various criteria. See “Filter” for more information.
  2. Quote List
    Contains a list of all the Quotes currently in the system. Click on a column header to sort the table by the contents of that column. Click and drag the column headers to change the order of columns.
  3. Quote
    Click on a Quote’s Quote No (highlighted in blue) to view its details. See “The Quote Details Screen” for more information.
  4. Export Button
    Click to export the contents of the Quote List to a comma-separated values (.csv) file, taking the current filter into account. Depending on your browser’s settings, you may be prompted to select a download location, or the file may be automatically downloaded to your Downloads folder.

Filter

Click the “Edit” button in the top-right corner of the Quote List screen to open the Filter panel. This panel allows you to apply various filters to the Quote List.

  1. Filter Options
    Select one or more options among the available fields to filter the Quote List by various criteria. Click the ‘x’ icon next to a selected filter to clear it. Filters are additive; for example, if “Bronze” is selected under Contract Type and “Open” is selected under Status, only Quotes that match both of these criteria will be displayed.
  2. Set As Default Button
    Click to set the current filter as the default when navigating to the Quote List page in the future.
  3. Reset Default Button
    Click to clear all selected filters and reset the default filter to display all Quotes.
  4. Clear Button
    Click to clear all selected filters.
  5. Close Button
    Click to close the Filter panel.

Quote List - Columns

The Quote list comprises the following columns:

  • Quote No: The Quote’s number. Click on this number to view the Quote’s details page.
  • Serial No: The serial number of the piece of equipment attached to the Quote. If the Quote includes multiple pieces of equipment, ‘Multiple’ will be displayed.
  • Make: The make of the piece of equipment attached to the Quote. If the Quote includes multiple pieces of equipment, this column will be blank.
  • Model: The model of the piece of equipment attached to the Quote. If the Quote includes multiple pieces of equipment, this column will be blank.
  • Description: The Quote’s description.
  • Status: The Quote’s current status.
  • Customer: The number and name of the Customer for which the Quote is being built.
  • Equipment: The number of pieces of equipment included in the Quote.
  • Quote Date: The Quote’s date. This defaults to the date the Quote is created but can be manually overwritten.
  • Owner: The username of the Quote’s owner.
  • Creator: The username of the Quote’s creator.
  • Days Outstanding: The number of days the Quote has been outstanding. Equal to the difference between the current date and the Quote Date.
  • Quote Total: The total cost of the Quote.
