How to use Quick Entry - Open in Agent in Handle CRM.


Salespeople have a lot of irons in the fire. And updating all of their assignments, leads, and active opportunities can seem like being lost in a sea of forms, windows, and tabs. Handle’s Quick Entry Open in Agent link lets you jump in and out of records fast, without getting lost in the details. 

Open in Agent gives you one click access to any record, without making you leave the search results. That means working through priority tasks is quicker and more focused, with less hunting around the screen to find where the record went. This is a great time saver while working through a list of new lead assignments, today’s sales calls, scheduled follow ups, or for updating active quotes

How to use Quick Entry Open in Agent

What You’ll Need

  • Any Search in Handle that uses Grid or Activity view

1. Open the Quick Entry Popup

Hover over the Stacked-dots icon location for the record you want to add to or edit.

The Stacked-dots icon can always be found by hovering over the far left side of the row, or next to most text based column like Item Name, Comments, or Notes fields.

2. Open the Agent

Click on the Open in Agent link and the Agent will open the record on the left side of your window.

3. Edit and Save

Scroll through the record to find the fields that need to be edited.

When you’re done, remember to hit Save & Close

For items that need more time or space to work on, you can easily open them in a new tab by clicking Open in New Tab in the Quick Entry Popup, or clicking on the Open icon at the top of the Agent.
