2023.01 Texada GateWay Release Notes

Release notes for Texada GateWay version 2023.01.

These notes address new features and code fixes for version 2023.01 of Texada GateWay. Release dates for this version are as follows:

North America: April 18th, 2023
APAC: May 16th, 2023

Notes are categorized as either Enhancements (new components or features) or Corrections (bug fixes).

Ticket #	Type	Description
GW-1463	Enhancement	The way in which User passwords are handled in the Texada GateWay Administration Panel has been updated to improve security. Administrators will no longer assign passwords to new Users during account creation. Instead, Users will receive a password reset email upon account activation, allowing them to set their own password.
GW-1523	Correction	Enabling the “Set all stores as closed” toggle on the Division Configuration screen will now correctly set all individual stores as closed.
GW-1524	Correction	Fixed a bug affecting the Edit Division window in which making changes to a Division would occasionally cause the phone number field to rapidly toggle between valid and invalid.
GW-1531	Correction	Attempting to save changes on the Edit Product screen without entering one or more Tab Names under Product Details will now result in a “Tab Name is required” error message being displayed.
GW-1537	Correction	Store phone numbers in the Edit Division window are now formatted as (###) ###-#### instead of ### #######.

GW-1397	Enhancement	It is now possible to download multiple Invoices as a single PDF file. From the All Invoices page in the GateWay Customer Access Portal, select multiple Invoices then click the “Download Invoices” button in the bottom-left corner of the screen to download selected Invoices as a single PDF.
GW-1414	Enhancement	The “Salesman Code” column on the Open Rentals page has been changed to “Salesman Name”.
GW-869	Enhancement	The “Forgot Password?” feature has been limited to 3 password reset emails per hour in order to prevent malicious actors from abusing the feature.
GW-1452	Correction	Fixed a bug in which submitting a pickup request for a rental in the GateWay Customer Access Portal would occasionally fail to send a notification email to the appropriate contact.

GW-1522	Enhancement	When a store is set to “Closed”, the store selector will now display “Closed” under the Hours column for that store, instead of “No Hours”.
GW-1509	Correction	Fixed a bug in which attempting to check out an order at a new site as a guest user would occasionally result in an error.
