User prompted to verify account frequently/on every login
When logging into SRM the Operator is prompted to perform 2factor authentication frequently or every time.
When an Operator first logs in from a "new" PC they will be asked to verify their access by being emailed a link or a security code.
This then sets a browser cookie that is stored by the browser that will automatically perform this verification going forward. However if this cookie cannot be set or is later cleared out it will then require the Operator to do this verification again.
The cause of the browser cookie not being set or deleted can be difficult to fully pin down, as this is controlled by the browser security settings as well as potentially third party addons or security software installed on the PC.
If this is a frequent issue, Texada Software would recommend consulting with internal IT support to review the PC settings and ensure cookies can both be set and not deleted automatically.
