Introduction

A Contract is a binding document between a renter and their customer containing the details of the rental or sale. Existing Contracts, both current and past, can be viewed and edited in Texada Web.

View a Contract

To view the details of an existing Contract in Texada Web, navigate either to Contracts → List or Contracts → Calendar in the left side menu and locate the Contract you wish to view.

  • On the Contract List page, clicking on a Contract’s row will open that Contract’s details. See “The Contract List Page” for more information.
  • On the Contract Calendar, clicking on a Contract’s Asset rental period (represented by a blue bar) will open that Contract’s details. See “The Contract Calendar” for more information.

Selecting a Contract will open the Edit Contract page. This page will be read-only by default, allowing you to view, but not edit, the details of the Contract.

Edit a Contract

To edit a Contract, click the button in the bottom-right corner of the Edit Contract page. You will know that editing has begun when the fields on this screen are unlocked for editing, and the Edit button is replaced by two new buttons, Save and Cancel.

You are now able to make your desired edits to the Contract. Note that not all elements of an existing Contract can be edited, and some require the proper permissions to edit.

Once you are finished with your edits:

  • Click to save all of your changes and lock the fields again. Upon a successful save, you will receive a message that reads “Contract updated successfully.”
  • Click to cancel editing without saving your changes.

For a detailed breakdown of the contents of the Edit Contract screen, see “The Create / Edit Contract Page”.
