Context
Create a delivery ticket when your customer has rented a piece of equipment from you, but lacks the capability to transport the equipment to their work site on their own. As a result, you must send a driver to deliver the asset to the customer’s site.
To create a delivery ticket you must have an active rental contract available that contains at least one product that is eligible for delivery. For example, the rental contract must contain a product that is at your yard, rather than at one of your customers’ sites already.
After choosing the contract that the delivery applies to, you are prompted to add more details about the delivery, such as the date, time, address, and are prompted to select which products on the contract are to be delivered. You can also assign the ticket to a driver directly from the details page, which causes the ticket to appear in the driver’s queue in Texada Mobile.
Once created, the delivery ticket appears in your list of tickets and can be updated, assigned, and closed as you would any other kind of ticket.
