How to view and edit an existing Work Order in Texada Web.
Quick Reference
- A Work Order is a document indicating that an Asset needs servicing, either for repairs or routine maintenance. Once a Work Order has been created, it can be reviewed and edited in Texada Web or SRM.
- There are two main places in Texada Web where you can browse existing Work Orders: the Work Order List and the Work Order Map.
- To edit a Work Order via the Work Order List page:
- Navigate to Work Orders → List in the left side menu.
- Locate the Work Order you wish to view and click on it.
- To edit a Work Order via the Work Order Map:
- Navigate to Work Orders → Map in the left side menu.
- Locate the pin of the Work Order you wish to edit and hover your mouse over it, then click “View Work Order” to open its Work Order Info panel.
- Click “Open Work Order”.
- To edit a Work Order via the Work Order List page:
- Selecting a Work Order from the Work Order List or Work Order Map will open the Edit Work Order page. This page allows you to view and edit the details of your Work Order.
- If the status of the Work Order you are viewing is anything other than Completed or Closed, you will be able to edit the Work Order immediately upon accessing the Edit Work Order page. Completed Work Orders can be edited by clicking the “Edit” button in the bottom-right corner of the screen. Closed Work Orders cannot be edited.
- Once you are finished making edits, click the “Save” button in the bottom-right corner of the screen to save your changes.

Open a Work Order
There are two main places in Texada Web where you can browse existing Work Orders:
The Work Order List
To locate a Work Order via the Work Order List page:
- Navigate to Work Orders → List in the left side menu.
- Use the controls at the top of the page to filter the list of Work Orders by Division, Location, or assigned Mechanic. Begin typing into the search bar to search Work Orders by Work Order #, Customer name, Site, Asset name, Asset #, and Mechanic name.
- Once you have located the Work Order you wish to view, click on it to access the Edit Work Order page.
The Work Order Map
To locate a Work Order via the Work Order Map:
- Navigate to Work Orders → Map in the left side menu.
- Use the controls at the top of the map to filter displayed Work Orders by status or priority. Begin typing into the search bar to search Work Orders by Work Order # and Customer name.
- Once you have located the Work Order you wish to view, hover your mouse over its pin on the map, then click “View Work Order” to open its Work Order Info panel.
- Click “Open Work Order” to access the Edit Work Order page.
View and Edit a Work Order
