2020 Texada Mobile (Formerly FleetLogic) Release Notes

Contains release notes for the mobile version of Texada (Formerly FleetLogic) for the 2020 calendar year.

These release notes address new features and code fixes for the standard release of FleetLogic as of 2020. Notes are categorized as either an Enhancement (new component or feature) or a Correction (bug fix).

All changes will be fully laid out in the Help Center, located at www.help.texadasoftware.com, following the release.

IOS-514 Enhancement We have updated the logo, colors, and icons in the mobile app to match Texada's branding guidelines.
IOS-611 Enhancement When completing an inspection form, the "Print a Copy" toggle on the "Complete Inspection" screen will now be disabled if no printers are available.

IOS-369 Enhancement We have added the ability for drivers to download and view attachments (document, PDF, or URL) from assigned Tickets.
IOS-116 Enhancement When a work order is assigned without an asset specified, mechanics will be prompted to add the asset to the work order before they continue working.
IOS-58 Enhancement Mechanics can now change which asset is on a work order.
IOS-354 Enhancement We have adjusted the Create Work Order workflow to allow auto-populating customer information.
IOS-430 Enhancement The mobile app has been updated to split the origin and destination addresses into separate sections containing relevant address information.
LP-2257 Enhancement We've automated the suggested parts list to auto-populate based on frequently used parts for the same Make/Model as the asset on the header of the work order. If make/model is not provided then we could do it solely on the history of that asset itself.

We're excited to announce that we’ll soon be rolling out a complete redesign for our Android and iOS apps in March for North America!

These design changes are part of an effort to make our apps easier to use and more consistent across our desktop, Android, and iOS platforms. Moving forward, we plan to make smaller and more incremental design improvements in order to improve usability and boost your productivity.
