Context
Add a service to a work order to cover any additional expenses incurred by an operator that was not covered by the original terms of the work order.
For example, your technician relocated a piece of equipment to a different site while carrying out a maintenance work order. The service manager opens the work order and adds the relocate service fee to the work order. When the work order is completed, the SRM (Systematic Rental Management) application administrator closes the ticket and the customer is billed for the original work order as well as for the additional services.
Note: The list of services in a work order is created in and drawn from SRM. As such, this functionality is only available if you have SRM.
Before You Begin
Required: Internet connection; valid FleetLogic login credential and permissions; existing services; SRM integration

Steps
Add a Service to a Work Order
- In the FleetLogic menu bar, navigate to Work Orders > List
The list of existing work orders opens in the main area - In the list of work orders, click the work order you need to add the service to
The work order details page opens in the main area - Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the SERVICES tab
The SERVICES panel opens - In the SERVICES panel, under Add a Service, click the Search by service # or description field
The list of services expands to display any existing services - Type information about the service, such as the name or description in the field
The list of services is narrowed to reflect your search term - Click the service you need to add to the work order
The service is added to the list of services on the work order
The Service Subtotal amount is updated to reflect the total cost of all services in the list - Click Save
The updates are saved
Edit a Service on a Work Order
- In the FleetLogic menu bar, navigate to Work Orders > List
The list of existing work orders opens in the main area - In the list of work orders, click the work order you need to add the service to
The work order details page opens in the main area - Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the SERVICES tab
The SERVICES panel opens - Within the SERVICES panel, click edit
next to the service you need to edit
- The Edit Service Details pop-up opens
- Use the existing fields to make any updates to the service
- Click Save
The updates are saved
