Context

Change the status of a ticket to In Progress when the asset is loaded onto the delivery truck and the driver must get confirmation of the loading from the appropriate individual before transporting the asset to its destination.  The change of status appears in the FleetLogic web application, enabling the Counter to know exactly where an asset is and what is happening to it. 

During the loading workflow, you can add comments, or flag the ticket for review if need be.  Otherwise, you select the assets that are loaded, and then note the loading status for each asset, so that the loading operation is fully documented in the event of an incident or setback.  Following this, you mark the load as complete, and get sign-off from any individuals that must sign for the loading. Once the loading is signed for, the ticket enters the In Progress status.

Note: You can incorporate multiple assets into a single ticket, each with their own separate statuses if you are loading multiple items onto a single delivery truck. 

Before You Begin

Required: Mobile device with internet connection and mobile application installed, valid FleetLogic account, valid login credentials and access permissions, existing ticket in the Loading status, existing asset on the ticket, valid email address

Steps

Update the status of a ticket to In Progress when the signer is present

  1. In the FleetLogic mobile application dashboard, tap Tickets
    The list of tickets that are assigned to you opens
  2. Locate and tap the ticket in the Loading status that you need to update to the In Progress status
    The ticket details page opens
  3. Optional: To add a comment to the ticket, in the Comments section tap Add Comment, type a comment in the Comment here field, and then tap ADD
  4. Optional: To flag the ticket as requiring attention, set the Requires Review toggle to on
    The ticket is flagged for review in the FleetLogic web application
  5. In the Assets section, tap LOADED next to any assets you need to load
    The asset load status popup opens
  6. Tap the asset load status that applies to the asset
    Note: The options in the asset load status popup are generated by your SRM (Systematic Rental Management) administrator
  7. Tap Complete
  8. Repeat steps 5-7 for all assets on the ticket
  9. When all assets on the ticket have the LOADED status, Tap Load Complete
  10. Hand the mobile device to the individual that must confirm that the asset is loaded
  11. The individual must set the I agree to the Terms and Conditions toggle to on
  12. The individual must use the Select Email dropdown to select a valid email address to send the loading confirmation to
    Note: The individual can tap None, if they do not have an email, or tap Enter Custom Email and type their email address if the email address is not already in the list
  13. Type the name of the individual that must confirm the asset is loaded in the Name field
  14. The individual must draw their digital signature in the Signature area
  15. The individual must hand the mobile device back to you
  16. Tap Done
    The status of the ticket is updated to In Progress
    The signing individual receives an email confirmation of the signing at the specified email address

Update the status of a ticket to In Progress when the signer is not present

  1. In the FleetLogic mobile application dashboard, tap Tickets
    The list of tickets that are assigned to you opens
  2. Locate and tap the ticket in the Loading status that you need to update to the In Progress status
    The ticket details page opens
  3. Optional: To add a comment to the ticket, in the Comments section tap Add Comment, type a comment in the Comment here field, and then tap ADD
  4. Optional: To flag the ticket as requiring attention, set the Requires Review toggle to on

  5. In the Assets section, tap LOADED next to any assets you need to load
