Context

Change the status of a ticket to Unloading when the asset is being unloaded from the delivery truck.  The change of status appears in the FleetLogic web application, enabling the Counter to know exactly where an asset is and what is happening to it.

During the unloading workflow, you can select the asset to unload, take pictures of the asset and add comments about its condition, including speech-to-text dictation if your device supports it. This enables you to clearly establish the condition of the asset upon delivery, protecting your company in the event of a dispute.

You can also choose from a pre-set list of unload comments if the unloading workflow fails.  For example, if you are unloading a bulldozer, and it fails to start, you could use the “failed to start” comment.

If this is a delivery ticket, you are prompted to obtain a signature for the delivery from an individual at the customer’s site.  If no one is available to sign, you can continue without adding a signature and can obtain it at a later date.

Note: You can incorporate multiple assets into a single ticket, each with their own separate statuses if you are unloading multiple items from a single delivery truck.
