Close or Cancel a Task Ticket in FleetLogic

Context

Delete, close, or cancel a task ticket if it was created in error, or to keep your list of tickets clean and up to date. 

 

The type of action you can take depends on the status of the task ticket. Use the following table as a guide to the actions you can take:

Status Action Available Effect

Created

Cancel Ticket Removes the task ticket from the list of tickets.

Assigned

Unassign

Cancel Ticket

Unassign removes the driver from the ticket, and changes the ticket status to Created.

Cancel removes the task ticket from the list of tickets

Loading

Cancel Ticket Removes the task ticket from the list of tickets.

In Progress

Cancel Ticket Removes the driver from the ticket, and removes the task ticket from the list of tickets.

Unloading

Cancel Ticket Removes the driver from the ticket, and removes the task ticket from the list of tickets.

Completed

Close Changes the ticket’s status to Closed.

Note: Closed task tickets are not recorded in SRM (Systematic Rental Management). They exist only in FleetLogic. Closing a task ticket changes the status of the ticket to closed, allowing you to more easily organize your task tickets by status. 

Before You Begin

Required: Internet connection, valid FleetLogic login credentials and access permissions, existing ticket, existing task ticket

Optional: Mobile device with an internet connection

 

Steps

To close or cancel a task ticket, do the following:

  1. In the FleetLogic menu bar, navigate to Tickets > Task
    The list of task tickets opens in the main area
  2. Click the ticket you need to close or cancel
    The ticket details page opens in the main area
  3. Click Cancel Ticket or Delete Ticket
  4. Click Proceed
    The ticket is closed or cancelled
