Customize the Digital Rental Board in the FleetLogic Web Application

Context

Customize the digital rental board to ensure it displays only the information you need it to.  When customizing the board, you can control:

  • The duration of the advance timer that moves your board’s pages forward automatically
  • The number of asset cards on the board on a single page
  • The color associated with each board item

Note: To customize which assets display on the board, you must customize the asset list view in Inventory > Assets.  See: “Use a Custom List View in the FleetLogic Web Application” for more information on list views

Before You Begin

Required: Internet connection, valid FleetLogic login credentials and access permissions, existing asset

Optional: Devoted display for the digital rental board

Steps

To customize the digital rental board, do the following:

  1. In the FleetLogic menu bar, navigate to Inventory > Assets
    The list of assets opens in the main area
  2. Click Present
    The digital rental board opens and displays a list of all assets in your current list view
  3. Click Settings
    The Presentation Settings page opens
  4. Optional: Under Card Size, do one of the following:
    1. Click Small to display a 6x4 grid of 24 assets on a single page
    2. Click Medium to display an 8x5 grid of 40 assets on a single page
    3. Click Large to display a 10x6 grid of 60 assets on a single page
  5. Optional: Under Pagination Auto-Advance, click one of 5s, 10s, 15s, 30s, 45s, or 60s to select the speed in seconds at which the board automatically advances to the next page
  6. Optional: Click Off to turn off the automatic advance timer
    Note: If the timer is off, you can only advance the pages manually
  7. Optional: Under Status Colors do the following to change the card color indicator for a specific board item:
  8. Locate the board item you need to re-color in the list
  9. Click edit
    The color palette opens
  10. Click the color you need
    The board item’s color is updated
  11. Click Save
    Your updates to the digital rental board are saved and applied
