Context
Export a list view to a spreadsheet when you need to interact with the list data or need to generate a report out of the list data to someone that does not have FleetLogic access.
For example, you could export the list of assets to a spreadsheet if you need to display a certain class of asset, but only for the last month. You could then forward that report to the company owner so they can make a decision on whether to keep or retire the piece of equipment.
You can export to one of two spreadsheet formats: MS Excel, or CSV format.
The exported view is based on the information that is currently contained in the list view. For more information on customizing list, see: "Customize and Filter a List in the FleetLogic Web Application”. For more information on creating a custom list view, see: “Use a Custom List View in the FleetLogic Web Application”.
Note: Not all lists have export functionality, and not all lists support exporting to both excel and CSV spreadsheets.
