Reset a Password in the FleetLogic Web Application

Context

Reset your password when you can’t remember it anymore or for security reasons. If you have sufficient security permissions, you can reset another user’s password as well. 

Before You Begin

Required: Internet connection, valid FleetLogic login credentials, and access permissions

Optional: mobile device with an internet connection

Steps

Reset your password

  1. In your web browser, navigate to https://fleetlogic.texadasoftware.com
    The login page opens
  2. Click Forgot password? 
    The reset password page opens
  3. Type the email address associated with your profile or account in the Email field
  4. Click Reset Password
    If the email address you typed in Step 3 is a match for the address on your profile, an email with a reset link is sent to that address
  5. Access your email application
    A password reset email is in your inbox
    Note: if you do not see a password reset email, check your spam/junk mail folder
  6. In the password reset email, click Reset Password
    The change password page opens
  7. Type a new password in the New Password field
  8. Re-type the new password from step 5 in the Confirm Password field
  9. Click Change Password
    The new password reset successfully page opens
    The password is updated 
  10. Click Return to sign in to return to the FleetLogic login page

Reset another user’s password

Note: you require sufficient permissions to reset another user’s password

  1. In the FleetLogic web application dashboard, click your profile
    The profile drop-down opens
  2. Use the profile drop-down to select Settings
    The settings page opens in the main area
  3. Click Users
    The list of users opens
  4. Click the user whose password you need to reset
    The USER SETTINGS page for the selected user opens in the main area
  5. Click Edit
  6. Click Reset Password
    A pop-up opens
  7. Click Yes
    The user’s password is reset
    A password reset email is sent to the email address in the user’s profile
