Context
Schedule a pickup or delivery ticket if you need to deliver or pick up a piece of equipment within a specific time window or date range. For example, if your customer rents a boom lift from you for two weeks from today, you can schedule the delivery date to match the rental date, saving you time and effort later.
There are two methods of scheduling a ticket: through the ticket details, or by dragging and dropping. Schedule a ticket in the details page when you need to schedule a single ticket that you are currently working on. Use the drag and drop method when you need to schedule multiple tickets, coordinate ticket schedules in a visual way, or if you are not currently working in a particular ticket.
Note: Task tickets are typically created on short notice, and as such, they are not scheduled ahead of time.
You can use the drag and drop method to manually reorder the tickets in a driver’s queue to visually indicate which tickets must be completed first. This enables you to place the higher priority tickets higher in the list, or to reorder the tickets in such a way as to improve the efficiency of the driver’s route.
Note: The tickets at the top of the driver’s list are the ones that are to be completed first, and the tickets at the bottom are completed last
Scheduled tickets appear in the Schedule function in Texada Mobile, where drivers can view them. See: “View the Work Order and Ticket Schedule in the Texada Mobile” for more information.
