Context

Create a custom list view when you have a particular set of filters and column arrangements that you need to use with a particular list. Texada Web makes use of a multitude of lists to display the information you need to carry out your work duties. By default, these lists contain every piece of information associated with them.  Often, you do not need every single piece of information in a list to do your work, and it is easier for you to review the list without all the unnecessary information.

Using custom views, you can arrange your list the way you need, and then save that arrangement.  See: “Customize and Filter a List in Texada Web” for more information on how to arrange your list.  The next time you access the list, you can load your view, and your presets are instantly applied to the list, saving you valuable time and effort.

You can save as many views as you want in a list. Views that are saved become part of a pooled list that can be accessed and updated by any users at your company, as long as they have sufficient permissions to do so.

You can set a custom view as the default view that all users see when they first access the list so that you do not have to load the custom view each time.

Note: Not all lists support custom views
