      These notes address new features and code fixes for version 2024.1024 of the Texada Rental Management suite of products. Release dates for this version are as follows:

      New GateWay Administration Panel Updates

      The new GateWay administration panel has seen a number of updates and quality-of-life improvements! These include a new “Auto Draft with AI” button added to the Edit Product page, allowing you to instantly generate product descriptions using information present in GateWay and SRM.

      Additionally, three new reporting screens have been added:

      • Web Requests: See payments and quotation requests submitted to your eCommerce website.
      • Service Requests: Review and resolve service requests submitted by your clients.
      • Emails: View the log of system emails sent to users of your website.

      Description

      TR-2179

      The "Password" and "Repeat Password" fields have been removed from the Edit User screen in the new GateWay administration panel, as portal passwords are being deprecated with the transition to TIS.

      TR-1456

      Resolved an issue in which it was possible to submit a password that did not meet the minimum requirements when resetting the password for an eCommerce website user account.

      Description

      TR-2361

      Resolved an issue affecting the Reservations List, Contract List, and Draft Contract List pages in which comments would occasionally not appear under the Comments column.

      TR-2356

      Resolved an issue affecting the Parts panel of the Add/Edit Contract/Work Order screens in which Parts whose names contained certain special characters would display a loading wheel under "Qty Available".

      TR-2322

      Updated the Texada Web/SRM login process in preparation for future improvements. Users will no longer be asked to select which product to log in to after submitting their credentials.

      TR-2151

      Resolved an issue affecting the Create/Edit Contract/Work Order screens in which Parts whose product numbers contained certain special characters would not appear listed in the Parts panel, and would not contribute to the Part Subtotal.

      TR-1920

      Resolved an issue affecting the Reservations List page in which selecting a User via the plus button under the Assigned To column would occasionally fail to assign that User to the Reservation.
