Context
When you create a work order and save it, additional fields, such as technicians and comments become available on that work order. To add additional information to those new fields, you must edit the work order.
If you have sufficient permissions, you can edit and update some of the details of a work order any time you view the order’s details. For example, if a work order is submitted via the mobile application and you need to view the comments or see which technician did the work on a particular work order, you can do so in the work order’s details.
Note: This article focuses only on the parts of the work order that are not initially available when you first create a work order. For more information on how to update the parts of the work order not covered in this article, see: “Create a Work Order in Texada Web”.
