Context

When you have the HubSpot integration with GateWay set up, your customers can view any HubSpot support tickets they have created with your company. You can control which types of users are able to view these tickets in the administration panel in GateWay. For example, you can allow customer user types to view tickets but prevent salespeople users from viewing tickets.

Before You Begin

Required: Internet connection, active GateWay account, active HubSpot account, GateWay HubSpot integration successfully set up, HubSpot company linked to SRM customer record

Steps

  1. In the GateWay administration panel, navigate to Users > Restrictions
    The Restrictions page opens in the main area
  2. Next to Support Tickets, do any of the following:
    1. Use the toggle in the Salesman column to select whether a salesperson user has restricted or granted access to HubSpot tickets
    2. Use the toggle in the Customer column to select whether a customer user has restricted or granted access to HubSpot tickets

    Your access settings are set up
    User types with granted access are able to view and create HubSpot support tickets for this company
    User types with restricted access cannot view or create HubSpot support tickets for this company
    The Tickets menu option appears in the menu bar in GateWay customer access
